  • BOA SENEGAL: BOA SENEGAL CONFIRMS THE ROBUSTNESS OF ITS BUSINESS MODEL AND THE QUALITY OF ITS OPERATIONAL EXECUTION IN Q1 2026, WITH A PROFIT OF FCFA 5.74 BILLION, UP 9.8% COMPARED TO END-MARCH 2025

In the first quarter of 2026, BOA Senegal reported an overall positive trend, reflecting both growing business activity and improved profitability. Net banking income, which represents the bank’s revenue, rose by 6.8% to 12.58 billion FCFA, indicating that commercial activity continues to expand. This growth in revenue is directly reflected in the results, with profit before tax up by 9.7% and net profit reaching 5.74 billion CFA francs, an increase of 9.8%, confirming a significant improvement in profitability.

In terms of banking activity, lending (loans granted to customers) rose by 4.8 per cent, whilst funds raised (customer deposits) grew at a much faster rate (+16.7 per cent), reflecting strong customer confidence and improved liquidity. This combined trend indicates that BOA Senegal has ample resources to finance its operations under prudent and balanced conditions, which reinforces its profile of strength and stability for investors.
