FGI’s authorisation enables it to manage its clients’ securities portfolios in accordance with the procedures established by the Central Securities Depository, the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) and the regulated markets on which FGI operates.
FGI records financial securities in the account opened in the name of their respective holders (companies or individuals).
As securities are now dematerialised, FGI’s securities custody service involves real-time electronic monitoring to record incoming transactions, changes in value and outgoing transactions. For example, the collection of coupons, forward sales, the receipt of purchased securities, the delivery of sold securities, and the redemption of bonds.
FGI uses IT systems that have been approved in advance by the UMOA Financial Markets Authority. These systems are backed up by at least one mirror registry, hosted on secure servers. Its operational process has been specifically designed to ensure confidentiality, transparency and security.
As part of our commitment to maintaining close and transparent relationships with our clients, we regularly provide you with portfolio statements and trade confirmations. These documents can also be viewed and downloaded online.
