  • BENIN NATIONAL LOTTERY (LNB): THE BENIN NATIONAL LOTTERY (LNB) OPENS A NEW CHAPTER IN ITS HISTORY WITH THE APPOINTMENT OF MARIUS ADANZOUNON AS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, REPLACING GASTON ZOSSOU, WHO RESIGNED ON 14 JUNE 2026 AFTER TEN YEARS AT THE HELM OF THE COMPANY.

The Benin National Lottery (LNB) has announced the appointment of Marius ADANZOUNON as Chief Executive Officer, effective from 16 June 2026, in a clear drive towards strategic transformation. With approximately 17 years of experience gained primarily within the MTN Benin Group, the new chief executive arrives with a firmly innovation-oriented approach, focused on modernising operations, improving performance, and strengthening the company's socio-economic impact. This appointment is part of a proactive governance strategy aimed at accelerating digitalisation and consolidating LNB's role as a key player in the Beninese economic ecosystem.

From an analytical standpoint, Marius ADANZOUNON's career profile highlights strong expertise in digital transformation, customer experience management, and change management, backed by concrete achievements including the deployment of mobile solutions, expansion of distribution networks, digitalisation of services, and data security enhancement. This profile, strongly oriented towards innovation and operational efficiency, represents a positive signal for LNB's development prospects, particularly in terms of revenue optimisation and adaptation to new technological dynamics. In the medium term, this appointment could translate into a strategic repositioning of the company, with a growth lever centred on the digitalisation of offerings and improved market penetration.
