  • Société Ivoirienne de Banque (SIB): SIB retains its AA- rating with a positive outlook, thanks to an overall improvement in its financial performance and its loan portfolio.

Bloomfield Investment has affirmed, for the period from October 2025 to September 2026, the financial rating of Société Ivoirienne de Banque (SIB) at AA- for long-term debt and A1 for short-term debt in local currency (FCFA). The outlook is positive in the long term, reflecting potential for an improvement in the credit profile, and stable in the short term, reflecting excellent short-term repayment capacity supported by strong liquidity and robust protective factors.

This rating is based on the bank’s very high credit quality, underpinned by a strong position in the retail lending market, an overall improvement in financial performance and the quality of the loan portfolio, as well as the implementation of a new strategic plan. The analysis does, however, highlight certain areas for attention, notably a decline in fees generated by banking activities and a concentration of customer business in the large corporate segment, without calling into question the overall strength of SIB’s credit profile.
